Our Apurimac Canyon Trek 2 Days / 1 Night begins early in the morning. For our group service, we meet at Regocijo Square in Cusco, located just a few minutes from the Main Square, between 4:30 and 5:00 AM.
From Cusco, our private tourist transport takes us on a scenic journey of approximately 3 hours to the district of Cachora. Here, we stop for breakfast before continuing by vehicle toward the spectacular Huayhuacalle Viewpoint, also known as the “Andean Great Wall.”
From Huayhuacalle, we begin a scenic hike of approximately 1 hour downhill, following a beautiful route with impressive views of the Apurimac Canyon and the surrounding Andes, until reaching the Capuliyoc viewpoint.
At Capuliyoc, we enjoy a delicious lunch at our restaurant before heading to our exclusive mountain campsite, where the adventure takes a more relaxed and enjoyable turn.
Spend the afternoon surrounded by nature and enjoy our private campsite with hammocks, a swimming pool, pool table and table football. It is the perfect place to relax, have fun and enjoy the spectacular Andean scenery.
As the sun goes down, we gather around a campfire for a special evening in the mountains. Enjoy music, drinks and a small campfire celebration under the stars, creating unforgettable memories in the heart of the Apurimac Canyon.

After a restful night in our cozy mountain cabins, we begin the second day of our Apurimac Canyon Trek with a delicious breakfast surrounded by the beautiful Andean landscape.
We then take our transport toward Cachora, where we have the opportunity to experience one of the local traditions by tasting Chicha Cachorina, an ancestral corn-based drink traditionally prepared by local communities.
Our next stop is the fascinating Saywite Archaeological Site, an important archaeological complex in the region. Here, we discover ancient stone carvings and learn more about the history and cultural heritage of the Andes.
Continuing our journey, we travel to Curahuasi, known as the “Capital of Anise,” where we can taste the traditional Curahuasi anise liqueur, another local product deeply connected to the region’s culture and traditions.
We then continue toward Cunyac Bridge, crossing one of the spectacular landscapes of the Apurimac Valley. Here, we stop for lunch and have time to relax and enjoy the swimming pool overlooking the Apurimac River—the perfect way to finish our adventure.
In the afternoon, we begin our return journey to Cusco, arriving in the city after an unforgettable 2-day, 1-night Apurimac Canyon experience, filled with spectacular landscapes, Andean culture, history and adventure.
